About the role

You will be responsible for Linux server systems, storage systems, backup systems, and monitoring systems. You will create new concepts for improving the server operation in cooperation with colleagues.

How you will get the job done

• working on the further development of Kubernetes architecture
• designing, implementing, and managing highly available Kubernetes clusters on-prem to ensure that our applications run smoothly and efficiently
• implementing CI/CD pipelines and automation tools to streamline our development and deployment process
• migrating legacy applications to containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes
• administrating Linux system SLES and RHEL with RedHat Satellite
• supporting for planning and implementing of Linux server systems 
• reviewing of services, patching, troubleshooting 
• troubleshooting Oracle and MySQL database environment and application servers JBoss, Wildfly, Apache 
• supporting storage and backup system  
• checking and configuring the PRTG monitoring system 
• 2nd level supporting Client systems 
• analyzing the environments to develop optimization measures 
• ensuring quality and availability

Skills and experience you will need

• very good command of English and Polish
• min. 3 years of experience in a similar role 
• high technical understanding of the interrelationships in complex network and server structures 
• experience in administration of complex heterogeneous IT landscapes 
• knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines
• knowledge of RHEL Linux Server (SLES preferably) 
• knowledge of Oracle/MySQL database system 
• experience in VMWare ESX and KVM 
• experience in the area of application servers JBoss, Wildfly, Apache 
• knowledge of current DevOps technologies, such as Docker, Jenkins, Kubernetes, Ansible 
• experience in storage systems (Netapp) and Microsoft Windows Server interacting in Linux environments (AD, Networking) 
• understanding of business requirements and high analytical skills to identify complex problems 
• knowledge of IT service management processes 
• efficiency in daily work and goal orientation 
• willingness to learn constantly new things  

Nice to have

• university or technical college studies in computer science or a technical field  
• good command of German 
• certification in ITIL
