ERGO Technology & Services S.A. (ET&S S.A.) was established in January 2021 following the integration of ERGO Digital IT and Atena into one entity, leveraging both companies’ strengths and best practices. As a part of ERGO Technology & Services Management AG, the technology holding of ERGO Group AG, we support millions of internal and external customers with state-of-the-art IT solutions to everyday problems.
In October 2022, ET&S S.A. expanded its scope of operations by creating a Business Services unit to contribute in a new way to the growth of ERGO’s business. Acting as a co-partner and internal consultant, it adds non-IT value and supports the development of the entire ERGO Group, currently offering skills in reporting, analysis, actuarial, and input management. We are committed to fostering innovation and meeting the evolving needs of our clients worldwide.

How you will get the job done
- understanding the pain-points of the current architecture and helping to define and implement an efficient architecture which resolves the identified pain-points
- anticipating, monitoring and solving technical issues and blockers
- acting as technical team lead for the developers and providing guidance where needed
- overall technical leading on the project
- ensuring that the solution follows architectural patterns: service oriented architecture, designing reusable solutions and explaining benefits to both technical and business audiences
- ensuring that the solution is fit for MRE and compliance/regulatory standards
- acting as key interface to other technical teams
Skills and experience you will need
- fluent spoken and written English
- min. 6 years of experience as a Solution or Technical Architect
- backend: REST-APIs for Windows, Linux, C#, .NET Core, WebAPIs (.NET 1-7, asmx)
- frontend: it’s good to have SharePoint knowledge and other languages such as Python, WinForms, WPF, WebRTC, Elm, Vanilla-JS, JavaScript, jQuery, TypeScript, CSS, SCSS are a plus
- databases: MS SQL, MySQL, Oracle
- CI/CD-Pipelines: Azure DevOps and others such Atlassian, GitHub, GitLab, Jenkins are a plus
- Microsoft: SQL-Server, Power BI, PowerShell, Teams, Excel & VBA, Azure
- virtualisation: VMWare, Docker
- web server: Apache, Jenkins
- experience in working in Agile mode (Scrum)
