About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Senior IT Support Specialist for the IT unit Business Solutions – Digital&Automation. As a Senior IT Support Specialist you will support smooth operations of the applications and support project activities, including transition from transform to support processes. You moreover provide application maintenance and support services to users or to service delivery functions and contribute to the operations of a dedicated application or group of applications. How you will get the job done

  • supporting smooth application operation and development of project releases for multiple applications in your portfolio  
  • taking over the internal product responsibility for IT products or product groups
  • ensuring compliance with required IT and risk controls  
  • supporting the stable and secure maintenance of OpenText products (SAP and NON-SAP) 
  • supporting the Product Managers as Requirements lead to manage and prioritize the backlog using our agile methodology framework MR Essentials 
  • supporting Product Managers with controlling and monitoring of external providers with regards to Incidents and Change Management of applications or application groups in the area of responsibility 
  • advising business departments or IT colleagues on service offerings 
  • collaborating in transition projects and in the further development of the service in general 
  • creating and maintaining procedures for existing processes and documentation around knowledge management, compliance regulations and vulnerability remediation 
  • ensuring compliance based on internal and external regulations, and adherence to established product management processes (MR Essentials)

Skills and experience you will need

  • fluency in English 
  • 5+ years of experience in delivering results in a fast paced, global and regulated business environment 
  • strong understanding of technology with the ability to understand and articulate customer problems, solutions and possible impacts 
  • experience with ITIL processes to collaborate with infrastructure, operation, development and technical architecture 
  • knowledge of Content Management solutions as OpenText Content Server is a must 
  • knowledge of OpenText Client Products  
  • knowledge of cloud infrastructure, and a proven quality and result orientation 
  • planning, coordination and organizational skills to ensure smooth application support processes and as well to assist the Product Managers or the customer directly 
  • demonstrated ability to work globally across entities and cultures

Nice to have

  • knowledge of OpenText SAP solutions like ArchiveLink, DokuLink and xECM-Link is a plus same as OpenText Document Pipeline Technology 
  • technical KnowHow on OpenText WebReports, SQL (Databases), Oscript and XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, .Net, Pearl 
  • experience with agile project methodologies and DevOps processes and tools 
  • domain knowledge in investment management
