About the role

As part of our team, you will be responsible for the design of our new SAP Global Template across the Group and support transferring the approximately 200 existing companies, mainly in Europe but also in Asia, to the new solution based on S/4 HANA in the SAP Cloud.

How you will get the job done

  • developing and optimizing SAP FI Global Template
  • playing a key role in the conception and design of the new global template as a product owner in an agile development process
  • developing the roll-in approach for transferring the entities currently in use to the new system
  • providing business support for the roll-ins, in which local GAAP and regulatory requirements must be taken into account in addition to IFRS requirements
  • setting up future maintenance and the transition to the Target Operating Model
  • supporting during the implementation process of the requirements – from the quality-assured conception and transfer to the implementing IT department to the execution of professional tests and acceptance
  • supporting the central and local business contact partners in an advisory capacity, taking responsibility for the solution and making decisions within the appropriate scope of action

Skills and experience you will need

  • English language skills at min. C1 level
  • University degree, ideally in Economics with a focus on Accounting, Auditing, Insurance, Business Informatics, (business) Mathematics or a comparable qualification
  • practical experience of SAP system applications in the FI and ideally also AA or AP-AR modules
  • profound professional experience and knowledge in requirements analysis, conception and realization of SAP FI S/4 HANA implementations / general ledger templates
  • experience in implementing concepts of SAP system support across distributed, international locations (including offshore)
  • experience in evaluating and prioritising requirements for IT implementations in dialogue with counterparts in the business departments
  • very good knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, SharePoint, Power BI)

Nice to have

  • German language skills
  • experience in migration projects in the context of SAP FI
  • knowledge of financial reporting and accounting standards (including Solvency II, IFRS9 and IFRS17)
