About the role

Business Solution Finance is accountable for globally used systems. The team ensures reliable, consistent and audit-proof quarterly and yearly closings. This includes adhering to new global financial standards like IFRS9 and 17 and an increasing demand with regards to stability, transparency and credibility. We strive for a high degree of automating core processes to drive the digital transformation.

You will be able to gain experience in numerous innovative SAP S/4HANA transformation projects and you will have the possibility of participating in a long-term project of centralizing SAP financial modules in the ERGO Group from the beginning.

How you will get the job done

• working with stakeholders to capture and define business requirements
• creating detailed outcomes of the business analysis process outlining problems and opportunities for business stakeholders
• translating business requirements into detailed functional specifications
• supporting the Project Manager in delivering the project plan on time and on budget
• ensuring requirements are communicated, understood, and implemented in a timely manner
• supporting users’ participation in implementation activities and testing

Skills and experience you will need

• full command of English with excellent written and oral skills to communicate clearly and effectively with stakeholders
• university degree preferably in Computer Engineering / IT, Business Administration, or similar qualification
• several years of experience as a business analyst or related role, ideally within IT or data related projects
• experience in implementation projects and roll-outs
• exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• strong planning, organizational, and time management skills
• demonstrating analytical thinking and problem-solving approach which can deal with ambiguity
• effective communication/interpersonal skills combined with stakeholder management skills
• positive mindset
