How you will get the job done
- being an active Scrum team member taking care of the quality of delivered IT solutions
- reviewing requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
- estimating, prioritizing, and planning test activities
- designing and execute and document manual tests (on GUI and API levels)
- identifying, recording, and tracking defects
- defining and performing regression tests
- tracking quality assurance metrics, like defect densities and open defect counts
- staying up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies and continuously improving the test process in assigned project
Skills and experience you will need
- good communication skills both in Polish and English
- min. 2-3 years of experience as a QA Engineer
- knowledge about JavaScript and Cypress
- hands-on experience in writing clear, concise, and comprehensive test cases with the usage of test design techniques
- hands-on experience with API testing, i.e. REST, XML, Microservices, etc.
- knowledge about tools supporting test activities (browser developer console, Postman, or other tools for API verification)
- experience in software development in the Agile/Scrum process
- experience with Jira or any other SDLC management supporting tool
Nice to have
- hands-on experience with test automation or willingness to learn
- experience with Jenkins or other CI/CD tool
- basic database knowledge
