About the role
As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for the preparation and execution of testing activities as part of the application development lifecycle according to the defined standards and guidelines, as well as reporting bugs and working closely with requirements engineers and developers to resolve them.
How you will get the job done
- preparing and execution of test cases within the project in compliance with the test and method standards
- writing and maintaining automated tests using Cypress
- raising defects found during the testing and working with developers on their resolution
- working with IT System Analyst/Requirements engineer’s development of acceptance criteria
- supporting the early-stage involvement in the project – contribution to project estimations regarding test area and requirements analysis
- supporting the defect management process in the project, including subsequent root cause analysis
- supporting the creation of documents
- supporting the tracking of test KPI and metrics following Munich Re standards
Skills and experience you will need
- fluency in Polish
- excellent communication skills in written and spoken English (at least B2 level)
- automation testing experience (using: Cypress, Selenium, JUnit or other framework)
- detailed knowledge of the testing lifecycle as well as the different test types and their application
- test planning, execution, and data management expertise
- e.g. Azure DevOps with Azure test plans
- excellent interpersonal skills
