How you will get the job done
- running and delivering multiple complex IT projects (£1m–£2m), applying appropriate project management methodologies
- defining project scope, budgets, resources, timelines, and delivery approaches
- ensuring projects are being delivered on time, within budget, and in line with business and technical requirements
- managing risks, issues, dependencies, and changes, proactively mitigating impacts to project delivery
- coordinating internal teams, vendors, and third-party resources throughout the project lifecycle
- building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for projects
- monitoring project progress, budgets, forecasts, and reporting, while providing regular updates to leadership
- ensuring compliance with governance requirements and supporting the smooth transition of solutions into production
Skills and experience you will need
- fluency in English
- 5+ years of experience delivering IT infrastructure, workplace, or application projects in complex environments, ideally within Finance, Insurance, or other regulated industries
- basic understanding of AI, including machine learning, generative AI, data pipelines, and AI lifecycle concepts
- ability to translate business needs into AI use cases and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- strong project, financial, and change management skills
- excellent stakeholder management, communication, and reporting skills
- experience managing project budgets, costs, risks, and cross-functional global teams
- collaborative leadership style with a willingness to mentor others and travel internationally
