About the role

We are seeking a skilled and proactive Patch Management Coordinator to join our team. The Patch Management Coordinator will play a crucial role in ensuring the security and stability of our systems by effectively managing the deployment of patches and updates across our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of patch management processes.

How you will get the job done

  • coordinating the timely deployment of patches, updates, and fixes for operating systems, software applications, and firmware across all relevant systems and devices
  • collaborating with stakeholders to develop and implement patch-testing procedures to ensure compatibility and minimize disruptions to operations
  • supporting regular vulnerability assessments to identify potential security risks and prioritize patching efforts accordingly
  • monitoring patch deployment status and performance metrics to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures
  • maintaining accurate records of patch deployment activities, including patch calendar, documentation of applied patches, testing results, and any associated issues or challenges
  • communicating effectively with stakeholders, including IT teams, system administrators, and end-users, to provide updates on patch deployment schedules, status, and impact
  • assessing the potential impact of patches on system functionality and stability, and developing contingency plans to mitigate any potential risks or issues
  • ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices related to patch management and cybersecurity
  • supporting Service Managers in various areas of data centre management like incident, problem, change, capacity and availability, and license management

Skills and experience you will need

  • fluency in Polish at C1/C2 level and English (at least B2 level)
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • +3 years of working experience in patch management
  • basic knowledge of​ Linux, Windows, and virtualization platforms
  • familiarity with patch management tools and techniques, such as SCCM, WSUS, or similar
  • advanced knowledge of the MS Office package
  • familiarity with vulnerability assessment tools and methodologies
  • self-motivated and self-dependent, willingness to develop further
  • analytical thinking, problem-solving
  • continuous improvement attitude and proactive mindset
  • being a team player and willing to share the know-how with the team

Nice to have

  • relevant certifications will be beneficial (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • ITIL certification
