About the role

In this role, you will coordinate ERGO’s global Coupa Accounting activities, with a strong focus on processing and technical handling within Coupa. You will act as the central point of contact between all accounting entities using Coupa, ensuring smooth collaboration and alignment across regions. In addition, you will play a key role in supporting global roll-outs of Coupa, helping to implement and maintain consistent standards across the organization.

How you will get the job done

  • acting as the primary point of contact for the international accounting representatives for inquiries related to Coupa
  • coordinating all internationally relevant technical aspects about Coupa Invoicing topics
  • aligning all technical adjustments closely with the central team to ensure consistency and standardization
  • supporting Coupa Invoicing roll-outs to the ERGO international entities, implementing global standards while taking local legal requirements, tax regulations, and accounting rules into account
  • organising, facilitating, and driving regular knowledge transfer within the organisation through training sessions and workshops
  • creating globally applicable documents for accounting requirements in Coupa, serving as guidelines for the implementation of accounting standards
  • coordinating Coupa Accounting activities and best-practice exchange meetings with local Accounting Key Users on a regular basis, including conducting regular site visits
  • working closely with the central Coupa Team to ensure the development of the system and the implementation of further/new Accounting requirements

Skills and experience you will need

  • fluency in English (C1)
  • good language skills in German (B1/B2)
  • university degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
  • several years of professional experience in accounting, tax, and/or financial reporting, preferably in an international environment
  • strong knowledge of the Coupa platform, especially the Invoice module (preferably holding the Coupa Administrator certification)
  • interest in IT and an understanding of accounting processes
  • self-directed, structured, solution-oriented work style that supports teamwork, bringing together different perspectives
  • willingness to travel for international assignments and meetings
