About the role
By joining our team as a Front-end Developer you will have a chance to work on a design system of the number 1 reinsurer in the world – MunichRe. You will be a part of the global team responsible for aiding internal clients in digital product design. MunichRe Design System is a key tool for MunichRe to maintain a consistent vision of the visual layer across the whole company.
You would be placed fully in the core team, but you can also partially act as a consultant for the design system supporting products teams in its implementation in their area.
How you will get the job done
- developing UI components and features in accordance with the design
- cooperating in an interdisciplinary team consisting of PO, UI/UX designers, and front-end developers
- staying up to date with developments in front-end technology
- communicating effectively and sharing knowledge with your team members, ETS, and MunichRe front-end professional colleagues
- maintaining the existing design system of MunichRe
Skills and experience you will need
- fluency in English and Polish
- excellent skills in HTML and web components
- experience in building component-based frontends
- advance knowledge in CSS, JavaScript, and GIT
- basic understanding of the Design System concept
- communicative and open-minded person who is not afraid of challenges
Nice to have
- knowledge of IONIC, REST APIs, Angular, Vue, CI/CD
