About the role

The Financial Controlling Manager is a team leadership role responsible for the company financial planning and analysis, cost control, and execution of all Financial Controlling-related operations.

How you will get the job done

• coordinating and supervising the work of the controlling team, including supporting, motivating, developing, and effectively managing team members
• providing coherent, complete, timely and Group-compliant accounting and management reporting
• conducting company planning and forecasting activities
• monitoring budget execution and financial performance, ensuring adherence to financial targets and efficient resource usage
• supporting strategic decision-making through a strong understanding of the business and proactively recommending solutions that support organizational goals
• driving optimization of controlling processes, including the implementation of tools, procedures, and systems that improve the quality and efficiency of work
• assessing risks within the area and taking actions to mitigate those as per internal governance
• collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to deliver the value to the wider organization
• performing other tasks entrusted by superiors, within the scope of the position, and possessed competences

Skills and experience you will need

• fluent in English, at least C1 level
• 10 years of progressive experience in controlling and financial management within complex international organizations, including min. 5 years in a leadership/ people management role
• master’s degree in Finance/Business/Economics related discipline
• strong knowledge of international financial reporting standards (IFRS)
• track record of working closely with senior stakeholders both internal and external
• demonstrated experience in organizational/process transformation
• compliance with internal policies, governance and audit management
• advanced proficiency in MS Office, SAP, eager to learn and use new technologies
• strong sense of ownership, with the ability to work independently, delivery focus
• ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines, easily adoptable to changing business environment

• professional qualification ACA/ACCA, CIMA or equivalent
