  • drafting, negotiating, and standardizing legal documents (e.g. contracts, terms and conditions, internal policies) in alignment with business and IT governance needs
  • interpreting and assessing the impact of new laws, regulations, and industry standards on internal processes and frameworks, and translating them into concrete internal rules and measures
  • collaborating closely with legal, compliance, risk, IT governance, and business stakeholders to gather requirements, evaluate legal risks, and develop suitable governance and control mechanisms
  • supporting the implementation and rollout of legal frameworks across the organization, including training, guidance, and communication to relevant stakeholders
  • identifying opportunities to improve legal and governance processes (e.g. simplifying procedures, harmonizing guidelines, closing gaps in controls) and implementing enhancements
  • contributing to legal and compliance risk assessments and audits, including preparation of documentation and responses for internal and external auditors or regulators

Skills and experience you will need

  • fluency in English
  • several years of experience in a legal, compliance, regulatory, or governance function (e.g. n-house Legal, Compliance Officer, regulatory affairs, IT governance with legal focus)

  • solid understanding of IT governance, compliance, risk management, or corporate governance, and their legal/regulatory foundations
  • strong knowledge of relevant regulatory landscapes (e.g. IT governance regulations, data protection, information security, outsourcing/third-party risk, sector-specific regulation) – or a strong willingness to build this expertise
  • strong analytical and structured thinking, with the ability to translate complex legal and regulatory topics into clear policies, procedures, and practical guidance
  • experience in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, policies, and other legal documents
  • experience with legal documentation, versioning, and audit-proof record-keeping

  • high level of ownership and reliability, with the ability to drive legal and regulatory topics independently and meet deadlines
  • excellent communication skills, including explaining complex legal and regulatory requirements to both legal and non-legal audiences (e.g. management, IT, business teams)
