How you will get the job done
- working closely with multiple stakeholders to gather, analyze, and define current business processes as well as requirements
- translating business requirements into detailed functional specifications
- creating detailed outcomes of business analysis process, outlining problems and opportunities for Business stakeholders
- supporting the Project Manager in delivering the project plan on time and on budget, following project methodologies
- ensuring issues, preventing requirements to be realized, are tracked, reported, and resolved promptly
- effectively communicating plan, status, risks, and issues to the stakeholders in a precise and timely manner
- supporting users’ participation in deployments and implementation activities
- providing traceability of requirements and subsequent change requests, tracking the delivery of those requirements by the project team
- assist with business testing preparation and execution on project deliverables, ensuring the solution meets business expectations based upon approved project scope
- creating an appropriate level of product documentation (required for maintenance and support)
- eliciting and validating requirements for Product, translate them into relevant Product Backlog items and tasks
- monitoring completeness of business requirements, taking responsibility for requirement’s quality
- working on estimations together with the whole Development Team
- constantly seeking for improvements and excellence
- identifying dependencies and blockers impacting planned scope
- being a partner in discussions with the Project Manager, Development Team and Architects
- supporting Business Process Owner, IT Product Manager, Delivery Team, and Project Manager with a detailed understanding of the product features during Agile increment planning sessions
- being responsible for product validation (supporting stakeholders during the testing phase)
Skills and experience you will need
- fluent English and German
- at least 5 years of experience in the software development domain as a Business Analyst or System Analyst or similar role
- willingness to team with the Project Manager, accepting a shared responsibility for chasing and escalating tasks / issues related to the realization of requirements
- ability to stand in for the Project Manager (related to your area of responsibility)
- understanding of software development lifecycle, proven experience in end-to-end software project delivery
- being able to discuss and propose solutions to technical aspects of software delivery
- experience in preparing estimations together with the Development Team
- experience in exploring and managing requirements in large corporate projects
- demonstrating analytical thinking and problem-solving approach which can deal with ambiguity
- being proactive and feeling comfortable when dealing with senior decision makers
- team player who values positive culture and has ability to collaborate in a positive and professional manner with team members and stakeholders in an international context
- strong communication/interpersonal skills combined with stakeholder management skills
- practical experience with team collaboration tools (JIRA, Confluence)
- travelling to the European branch locations of ERGO and Munich RE may be required
Nice to have
- experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) domain and with Directory Service e.g. Active Directory or Entra ID
- ITIL certification or willingness to pursue one
- knowledge or working experience of Scrum methodology
