How you will get the job done

  • building scalable services using Java
  • designing and maintaining REST APIs for AEM and frontend part
  • integrating with external systems (search, marketing, data, 3rd Party integrations)
  • ensuring performance, reliability, and security
  • delivering end-to-end features across AEM – backend
  • working with Sling Models, OSGi, APIs
  • supporting JSON Exporter / headless / SPA scenarios
  • troubleshooting: dispatcher, replication, permissions, content structure
  • contributing to system design and architecture
  • applying best practices in API design, modularity, scalability
  • writing and maintaining unit/integration tests
  • performing code reviews and ensuring quality standards
  • supporting CI/CD pipelines and deployments
  • working with AWS (CloudWatch, S3, Lambda, SES, Canary)
  • assisting in environment setup and troubleshooting

Skills and experience you will need

  • fluency in English
  • strong experience in Java
  • experience with REST APIs and Maven
  • experience with OpenSearch / Elasticsearch
  • experience with AWS basics (S3, CloudWatch)
  • experience with JUnit, Mockito, AEM Mocks
  • familiarity with test driven development
  • understanding of AEM 6.5, AEM 6.5 LTS or AEMaaCS (JCR, Sling, OSGi)
  • experience with Sling Models/OSGi services, AEM APIs/content services
  • knowledge of dispatcher caching, replication mechanisms
  • ability to debug across AEM – backend – frontend
  • experience with building AEM components
  • exposure to SPA Editor/headless AEM
  • experience with AEM as a Cloud Service/migration
  • experience with Adobe tools (Target, Analytics)
  • experience with Event-driven architecture/messaging
  • experience with GraphQL
  • basic frontend knowledge (React/TypeScript)
  • security best practices (APIs & AEM)
  • proactive, ownership-driven mindset
  • clear communication with technical and business stakeholders
