How you will get the job done

  • designing and developing web applications using the Adobe platform, including guidance of site structure, components, templates, workflows, dialogs, object model designs (Java APIs), and AEM architecture (CRX, OSGI, JCR)
  • setting up and configuring AEM authoring, publish, and dispatcher environment with Adobe recommended best practices
  • integrating services of AEM with other marketing products like Assets, Target, Campaign, and other internal endpoints
  • assisting in deploying applications to Dev, QA, Production environments and migrations
  • developing using front-end technologies and frameworks (especially React)
  • working in an agile, rapid development environment
  • following best practices for secure web programming and deployment
  • adhering to internal best practices with respect to coding standards, unit test coverage, automation, and continuous integration

Skills and experience you will need

  • fluency in English
  • strong proficiency in React 18 and TypeScript
  • knowledge of state management solutions
  • practical experience with bundlers (Webpack, Vite) and build tools (Maven/npm)
  • experience with testing frameworks (Vitest)
  • understanding of SSR/CSR patterns and their implications within AEM
  • experience building AEM components and AEM architecture (JCR, OSGi, Sling)
  • ability to work with AEM Dialogs, Page Editor, and Editable Templates
  • knowledge of the Client Libraries system – categories, dependencies, embeds
  • experience with AEM Core Components and extending/overriding them
  • understanding of permissions model, replication, and caching mechanisms (Dispatcher)
  • hands-on experience with the AEM SPA Editor SDK
  • working with JSON Exporter and Sling Model Exporter to deliver content as JSON
  • familiarity with the Remote SPA concept and integrating externally hosted front-end
  • experience in component editability in context (author mode vs. publish mode)
  • ability to collaborate with content authors and understand their editorial needs
  • effective communication with back-end teams

Nice to have

  • experience in AEM as a Cloud Service or migration from 6.5 to AEMaaCS
  • knowledge of Adobe Target, Adobe Analytics, and their integration with AEM
  • familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions) for AEM package deployment
  • experience in working with Figma and delivering pixel-perfect implementations
  • knowledge of WCAG 2.1 / accessibility (a11y) standards
  • experience in CSS-in-JS or CSS Modules in AEM SPA projects
