About the role
As SAP FI Consultant, you will be responsible for the SAP Global Template, the MR/ERGO Group’s global general ledger system, across the entire group. You will play a key role in designing and managing SAP FI/CO processes relevant to accounting and financial reporting.
How you will get the job done
- coordinating and prioritizing SAP Global Template requirements across projects and operations
- acting as a business product owner, validating requirements, testing solutions, and approving changes
- supporting quarterly financial closing processes
- providing application support, resolving incidents, and collaborating with IT on bug fixing
- supporting communication and process improvements related to the SAP Global Template
- supporting SAP Accounting solutions for global users
- monitoring interfaces, analyzing errors, and implementing fixes
- implementing change requests and maintaining key master data (BP, AR, AP, GL)
- performing regular operational tasks
- analyzing new requirements and initiating system improvements
- supporting end users and executing system tests (UAT, releases)
- managing stakeholders across Munich Re, ERGO units, and IT
Skills and experience you will need
- fluency in English (C1)
- university degree (economics, finance, business informatics or related field)
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role within the insurance/financial services sector
- strong knowledge of SAP S4 HANA
- high resilience and flexibility
- strong organizational teamwork skills
- stakeholder management skills
- strategic mindset and enthusiasm for innovation
- solution-oriented approach, analytic skills
Nice to have
- good language skills in German (B2)
