How you will get the job done
- designing, developing and maintaining SAP ABAP solutions in line with architecture and coding standards
- developing reporting functionalities using CDS Views and optimizing CDS data models
- building and executing unit tests and supporting business testing
- analyzing, troubleshooting and resolving incidents and production issues
- providing technical support, monitoring and maintenance
- preparing technical documentation and supporting system releases and upgrades (SPDD, SPAU, SAP Notes)
- configuring and maintaining CVPM processes in SAP FPSL
- implementing and monitoring data flow between SDL and RDL
- developing high-performance solutions using AMDP and HANA SQLScript (code push-down approach)
- performing performance tuning and root cause analysis
- designing and monitoring process chains and background jobs (SM37) for automation
Skills and experience you will need
- strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills (English B2+)
- 8+ years of experience as SAP ABAP Developer (modern ABAP)
- strong expertise in Object-Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP)
- experience with SAP HANA, SQLScript, AMDP, CDS Views
- knowledge of performance optimization and database push-down techniques
- understanding of financial processes and subledger accounting
- knowledge of IFRS 9 / IFRS 17 and banking or insurance domain
- experience with SAP FI (tables, structures, programming)
- experience in incident management and production support
- degree in Computer Science / IT or related field
Nice to have
- knowledge of SAP FPSL and CVPM
- experience with SAP Fiori, SAP FAM, SAP BTP
- experience with BizTalk
