About the role

We are looking for an Actuarial Expert (Non-Life) who will be responsible for supporting financial and actuarial reporting, providing expert support to clients and improving reporting processes while collaborating with international teams. This role requires strong analytical skills and extensive experience in the actuarial field to deliver effective solutions that meet client needs.

How you will get the job done

• understanding the financial reporting systems and the dependencies between them, in order to derive an appropriate business requirements and prepare business test cases
• collaborating in an international environment within the team (actuarial and IT team members), across teams, and with Product owner in an agile framework
• providing expertise and support for Clients/Partners by recommending the most appropriate solutions that meet their business needs
• providing project and substantive mentoring, and recommending improvements that increase the overall effectiveness of teamwork
• performing data and results analysis and implementing business analysis tools
• supporting the project management process (e.g. risk management, project dependencies, work progress reporting), participating in meetings, and maintaining contact with the Clients/Partners (e.g. workshops and project meetings, training)
• being responsible for the completeness and overall consistency of the Clients’/Partners’ requirements
• performing other tasks entrusted by superiors, within the scope of the position, and possessed competencies

Skills and experience you will need

• fluency in English
• a university degree in in Mathematics, Physics, Technical faculty of IT, Economics or Financial
• at least 8 years of professional experience in a similar area of responsibility in the actuarial field
• professional experience in working with project teams in an international environment
• knowledge of financial reporting standards e.g. Solvency II, IFRS4, or IFRS17
• knowledge of programming languages used for statistical analysis e.g. SAS EG, R, VBA
• professional experience in implementing business analysis tools, and actuarial results analysis
• passed actuarial exams
• strong analytical skills, openness to change and innovative working methods, and good communication and negotiation skills
