About the role

We are searching for a Program Manager who will be responsible for managing a complex program and related projects, ensuring successful delivery, risk management, compliance, and maintaining stakeholder relationships.

How you will get the job done

• running and managing a complex program or a set of inter-related projects taking responsibility for their delivery
• overseeing the execution of multiple concurrent projects, acting as the coordinator between multiple projects and deliverables to ensure they’re benefiting each other and align with the overall business goals and outcomes
• managing a team (this may include both internal and external resources), providing leadership and direction
• driving the delivery of their projects with predictable consistency, efficiency and success, ensuring overall compliance with IT-internal requirements and smooth transition of the resulting solution into production, with a continuous focus on achieving business results
• identifying, monitoring and managing assessment of program dependencies, risks and issues to the success of the program resolving differences between individuals and/or interest groups (developing effective mitigation/treatment plans)
• planning, scheduling, monitoring reports on activities related to the program, ensuring that there are appropriate & effective governance arrangements, supported by comprehensive reporting & communication to Management and Executive Leadership
• managing the program within budget constraints and with profound cost consciousness
• working in an international environment, also with distributed teams; cooperating with project stakeholders, building and maintaining a successful relationship with teams and business partners

Skills and experience you will need

• fluent spoken and written English
• at least 7+ of experience in successfully managing the delivering of multiple IT infrastructure, workplace or application projects within a technically complex and dynamic environment, ideally in a global Finance/Insurance or regulated industry
• deep expertise in IT security and regulatory topics
• ability to lead and direct the management of sub projects and project managers under a unified program lens
• ability to demonstrate strong management skills including project management, financial management, change management and facilitation
• strong personal organizational skills and ability to coordinate the efforts of others globally in the successful delivery of projects
• ability to work in complex organization structures and tenaciously forge a path for delivery resulting in business outcomes and stakeholder benefit
• excellent communication skills, strong experience in managing the diverging interests of various stakeholders
• proven ability to create meaningful reports and summarize project health status for stakeholder presentations
• willingness to travel internationally
