About the role

A UX Researcher uses qualitative and quantitative research methods and analysis to gain insight into the users of a product. They synthesise and present the findings to the team and stakeholders to better understand their users of the product. A UX Researcher makes UX design recommendations based on the insights gleaned from the findings and supports the implementation of a learning environment in which findings can be used directly for future developments.

How you will get the job done

  • collaborating with designers and product owners, delivering knowledge and insights about users (their behaviours, expectations and experiences) at every stage of product delivery
  • planning and facilitating quantitative and qualitative user research
  • delivering reports and artefacts such as personas, empathy maps and customer journey maps
  • evaluating designs and delivered products with tests, data analysis and UX audits
  • co-facilitating exploratory workshops
  • supporting designers with information architecture and process design
  • helping program managers and product owners to define both long and short-term vision and roadmap for digital products
  • representing User Centred Design (based on evidence and data) within the organisation

Skills and experience you will need

  • fluency in English (C1)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, Cognitive Science, Psychology or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in User Research
  • expertise in conducting quantitative and qualitative research and converting research into digestible insights and design recommendations
  • communication, visualisation and presentation skills
  • user-centric mindset
  • ability to work in a team
  • analytical and creative mindset

Nice to have

  • advanced knowledge of German
  • Master’s degree in a related field
  • visualization skills (e.g. concepts, wireframes)
  • knowledge of Remote User Testing tools
  • experience in workshop facilitation
  • experience working in agile environments
