How you will get the job done
- being responsible for operations and further development of VMware environments
- steering and controlling activities of providers for the Workplace Services as an Operational Service Lead
- analyzing business/projects requirements and translating them into technology together with the providers
- supporting projects by analyzing requirements and performing tasks for the projects
- analyzing service quality and performance and discuss optimization with the involved providers
- being responsible for the handover of changed procedures to involved providers (Knowledge Transfer)
- coordinating and (potential) solving of level 2 and 3 incidents together with providers and customers (incident/problem)
- providing information on current developments and a market overview for the services and technologies used for the Workplace Development
Skills and experience you will need
- good communication skills in written and spoken English (B2)
- expert knowhow of driving services in an assurance enterprise environment
- excellent experience in managing providers
- very good knowhow of VMware Workspace One and VMware Horizon
- ability to work independently and remotely in a team (coordination, reliability and communication)
- being a team player and willing to share the knowhow with the team
- basic knowledge of project controlling
Nice to have
- good level of spoken German
