How you will get the job done
- planning, providing and operating Citrix ADC components (reverse proxy, web application security, load balancing)
- managing internal projects (release-to-production projects for service expansions, transfer of infrastructure projects into regular operation)
- creating and evaluating SLA and KPI reports for the incident, problem and change management
- coordinating the management of complaints and escalations
- carrying out change procedures to the service, taking into account the requirements of our company
- steering the cooperation with the responsible process owners (including incident, problem and change management)
- identifying improvement potential and developing optimization measures (Continuous Service Improvement)
- maintaining the knowledge database
- developing and evolving new designs and standards related to service-relevant components (areas: NetScaler infrastructure, new features & methods such as authentication mechanisms, monitoring, and reporting)
- installing and releasing a new NetScaler firmware version in integrative environments
- modifying the following existing NetScaler policies (authentication policies, pattern sets)
- adding/removing shared NetScaler configuration for existing applications in production environments
- adapting monitoring rules (system and application monitoring)
Skills and experience you will need
- fluency in English (both speaking and writing)
- completed technical studies (Business Informatics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science)
- wide-ranging experience with the Citrix Application Delivery Controller platform and Citrix ADC knowledge (setup, basic settings, implementing customer requirements, automation and monitoring)
- in-depth knowledge of network protocols
- consulting capabilities for in-house clients and a good understanding of the staged environment
- technical expertise in dealing with incident response as well as problem, change and lifecycle management
- independent handling of work packages in an international team
- extensive knowledge of the implementation of demands in a high-security environment
- experience in handling and providing web services (API interface services for service-to-service communication), web applications and remote access services
