About the role
We are looking for a Junior Financial Controller who will be responsible for participation in the implementation of the budgeting process and closing of reporting periods in the controlling and accounting system, and taking care of the quality and correctness of data in the financial and accounting systems.
How you will get the job done
- providing financial analyses (across full Profit & Loss)
- cost controlling and analysing budget variances
- participating in the implementation of the BI system
- preparing month-end reports for management, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
- taking part in preparing budget and forecast
- driving innovations and preparation of ad hoc reports
Skills and experience you will need
- fluency in English
- 1-3 years of professional experience in finance/accounting
- experience in SSC/global environments
- accounting and reporting knowledge
- strong analytical and communication skills
- passion for change management & continuous improvements
Nice to have
- good knowledge of Excel (inc. Power Query/Power Pivot), Business Intelligence apps (Power BI/Tableau) and VBA/SQL
- German language knowledge
