About role

As an IT Service Manager (Document Services) you will be part of a team responsible for supporting daily operations and requests from multiple sources. We are seeking a person who is operationally responsible for document services and works closely with software and processes for digital customer communications.

How you will get the job done

  • monitoring  and producing reports on digital dispatch performance
  • working within defined product specifications you will translate customer requirements into low-level designs and configurations
  • identifying the need for adjustments based on current production or changes in the market
  • carrying out necessary adaptations to the architecture of the document processing processes within the framework of projects and controlling and accepting the necessary systemic implementations
  • reviewing current and amended legal requirements
  • coordinating with the specialist departments and the Demand area on current production and necessary changes

Skills and experience you will need

  • fluency in German
  • fluency in English (at least B2 level)
  • University degree in Computer Science, Business, or equivalent certificates and courses​
  • 3 years experience in the operation of document processing processes
  • technical background especially in software area for digital customer communications (like PDF, Portals, eMails, FAX, SMS)
  • high proficiency in IT knowledge as it pertains to provisioning applications and software processes
  • knowledge of digital dispatch channels (fax, e-mail, portals, messengers)
  • knowledge of software development methodologies
  • experience in monitoring document-handling processes
  • excellent customer focus, relationship management, customer service, and communication skills
  • practical experience in creating evaluations and reports for document-handling processes
  • experience in failure analysis
  • know-how in the project management area
  • knowledge of legal requirements for document processing procedures
  • experience in: AFP, PDF, CANON Prisma, CANON sysHub, Compart DocBridgeMill
  • ITSM practices experience would be an advantage

Nice to have

  • knowledge of ITIL and COBIT
