About the role
We are seeking an IT Service Continuity Manager to join our IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and maintaining the IT continuity framework and ensuring that the IT systems and services of our company are available and reliable during any unforeseen incidents or disruptions. ITSC Manager reports directly to IT Continuity Officer.
How you will get the job done
- developing and maintaining the IT continuity framework, policies, and procedures for the company in accordance with industry best practices and regulatory requirements
- conducting risk assessments, business impact and gap analyses to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities to IT systems and services
- collaborating with IT teams and external stakeholders to ensure the continuity of IT services and operations during any unforeseen incidents or disruptions
- developing and maintaining IT recovery plans, including disaster recovery, business continuity, and crisis management plans
- conducting regular testing and exercises of IT recovery plans to ensure they are effective and up-to-date
- developing and maintaining IT documentation, including IT infrastructure diagrams, asset inventories, and operational procedures
- providing guidance and training to staff on IT continuity and disaster recovery best practices
Skills and experience you will need
- excellent communication skills in written and spoken English and Polish
- bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- at least 3 years of experience in IT continuity and disaster recovery
- knowledge of industry standards and best practices related to IT continuity, including ISO 22301, NIST, and ITIL
- strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate potential risks and vulnerabilities
Nice to have
- project management skills
- relevant industry certifications such as CBCP, MBCI, or CRISC
