About the role

As a CIO International Processes Team Lead, you will be a part of the international IT organization, responsible for the coordination of cooperation between Local IT organizations (international insurance carriers) and central business/IT functions. With a focus on the development and maintenance of orchestration processes (i.e. annual planning of IT budget, requirements gathering, international initiatives preparation, and handover).

You will work with international CIOs and represent the context of the local IT organizations towards central functions and vice versa. Together with you, we want to build an effective CIO Community, that can strengthen cooperation within the ERGO Group, thanks to better knowledge sharing, reuse of solutions, and more joined initiatives.

You will be responsible for the development and maintenance of processes related to international IT management and steering.

 

As a CIO International Processes Team Lead you will be managing a team of 4 experts, that should be in close contact with international CIOs and local teams, to help them in better IT steering, thanks to the potential that comes from the ERGO Group.

Strong communication skills are a must – you might see your role as an ambassador between local and central functions. Starting from getting support for new initiatives, community building up to escalation and conflict resolution.

How you will get the job done

  • defining, monitoring and controlling, IT related KPI management
  • planning and forecasting, implementing, monitoring and controlling IT budget
  • conducting group-wide initiatives – project conception & initiation, definition & planning, execution, performance & progress control
  • supporting the implementation of the group guidelines and Target Operating Model for IT
  • fostering knowledge exchange and innovation sharing
  • implementing group and regulatory requirements
  • involving in special assignments – Mergers & Acquisitions, Green- and Brownfield, PMI & Divestments
  • establishing and maintaining regular and ad-hoc communication with international IT and central function – be the one that knows the pulse of the central and local IT
  • supporting International and local CIOs in cooperation with a central function
  • participating in the development of the CIO Community – support the deployment of tools and processes aimed at fostering knowledge sharing and closer cooperation between affiliates
  • participating in the deployment of the Target Operating Model with an international IT organization
  • taking various roles within group-wide projects
  • supporting central functions in interactions with the international IT organization

Skills and experience you will need

  • full command of English; other language is a plus
  • 4+ years’ proven experience managing large IT unit or IT organization or within international company
  • sound understating of IT management & IT Governance
  • experience from multiple roles form agile and non-agile projects
  • experience in daily collaboration with business and IT stakeholders
  • experience working with senior decision makers
  • experience in IT budget management (CAPEX, OPEX, maintenance costs planning)
  • ability to build trust & creditability
  • strong communication/presentation/interpersonal skills
  • advanced MS Office skills
