How you will get the job done
- preparing relevant accounting result analysis in a team with senior accountants and actuaries to support the interpretation and steering of IFRS17 results for ERGO Group P&C companies
- working in cross functional teams to understand and to test software functionalities in SAP FPSL
- participating in constant knowledge transfer, understanding dependencies in order to derive an appropriate approaches for result analysis and test cases
- collaborating closely with other accountant and actuarial team members in an international and remote/hybrid framework
- providing support to international entities at Group level
- contributing to the further development of IFRS 17 accounting standard in ERGO Group
- analyzing results from different accounting systems (e.g. SAP FPSL)
Skills and experience you will need
- fluent written and verbal communication skills in English, additional languages can be an advantage
- good knowledge of Excel (incl. Power Query/Power Pivot) and working with databases/large volume datasets (e.g. R, SQL, SAP Analytic Cloud, MS Access)
- graduate degree in mathematics, economics or comparable quantitative field
- excellent technical and analytical skills, structured way of thinking, logical and concise in approach and high attention to detail
- ability and willingness to understand technical and functional dependencies
- open to work in an multicultural environment and willingness to travel internationally
- open-minded, proactive and well organized attitude, capable of prioritizing workload
