Job description:

Performing the Incident & Problem Management process:

  • raising and tracking of Incident & Problem Tickets
  • management of task forces in the troubleshooting process
  • management of engineers in the assigned areas of responsibility
  • reporting of Incident & Problem Tickets
  • proactive Problem Identification & Management
  • escalation of overdue Incident & Problem Tickets

 

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

  • degree or comparable professional training with work experience, preferably in the IT and/or process environment
  • is familiar with ITSM processes in general and the Incident & Problem Management process in particular
  • is familiar with and can apply the basics of project management
  • has a confident manner and is able to express himself/herself appropriately both verbally and in writing
  • has a good level of written and spoken English (German as option)
  • has a self-reliant approach to work and work organisation; is a team player
  • has the ability to familiarise himself/herself with technical issues and to present them in a comprehensible manner
  • ability to integrate and cooperate, also in an international environment

Preferably:

  • has a broad technical understanding of technologies in the environment of a data centre operation and client/server technologies
  • experience in the operational management of service providers
  • knowledge of the IT technologies, experience and infrastructures used on the market
