How you will get the job done

  • raising and tracking Incident & Problem Tickets
  • managing task forces in the troubleshooting process
  • managing engineers in the assigned areas of responsibility
  • reporting of Incident & Problem Tickets
  • proactive Problem Identification & Management
  • escalating overdue Incidents & Problem Tickets
  • working in programmes: BMC Remedy, Confluence

Skills and experience you will need

  • good level of written and spoken English
  • good knowledge of German (B2) (one interview will be in the German language)
  • degree or comparable professional training with work experience, in the IT and/or process environment
  • familiarity with ITSM processes in general and the Incident & Problem Management process in particular
  • at least 2 years experience in managing incidents or problems in an international company
  • demonstrated ability and willingness to develop into a Major Incident Coordinator.
    familiarity with and can apply the basics of project management
  • confidence manner and can express themselves appropriately both verbally and in writing
  • self-reliant approach to work and work organization; a team player
  • ability to familiarize themselves with technical issues and to present them in an understandable manner
  • ability to integrate and cooperate, also in an international environment
  • broad technical understanding of technologies in the environment of a data centre operation and client/server technologies
  • experience in the operational management of service providers
  • knowledge of the IT technologies, experience and infrastructures used in the market
