How you will get the job done

  • Lead Business Strategy and Analytics department by ensuring implementation and further development of ET&SM’s strategy
  • Critically differentiate between and align the 4 phases of overall ETS&M strategy implementation when deriving action items while keeping a good micro-strategic perspective
  • Take full ownership of relevant projects throughout strategy implementation
  • Responsible for smooth and efficient alignment of analytics and strategy capabilities with the department to derive actionable, data-driven action items for stakeholders
  • Report analytics insights and progress on strategy implementation to senior stakeholders, e.g., CEO Poland in the context of a mid-term digital-first strategy approach
  • Monitor professional development of direct reports
  • Critically reflect on potential use cases for driving incremental innovation through the introduction of emerging technologies (e.g., Web 3.0, NLP, etc.) while implementing Target Operation Model

Skills and experience you will need

  • 7 or more years, of experience in working, preferably, in the corporate strategy, insurance or financial services industry of which 3 or more years in managerial roles
  • Track record of having interacted with MD level business leaders and managing strategic client relationships for the organization
  • Superb problem-solving skills by applying an analytical, innovative, and creative mindset
  • Advanced in MS Office applications particularly PowerPoint and Excel
  • Superb leadership and development skills allowing for identifying and fostering talents in the organization and on the market
  • Proficient English and Polish
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
  • Superb interpersonal skills and ability to understand, as well as balance the objectives of multiple stakeholders
  • Strong communication, collaboration, prioritization and adaptability skills
  • Self-starting and self-driven to thrive in a dynamic business environment
  • Relentless ambition to question and improve current status quo in an organization thus driving innovation
  • Hands-on on execution while being able to delegate and own end-to-end project responsibility
  • Ability to provide honest and constructive feedback to employees, including superiors, as well as tolerance to receiving feedback


Nice to have

  • Working experience in international enterprises having collaborated in multi-cultural environments
  • Knowledge of emerging technologies that are potentially highly relevant to the insurance and technology industry (e.g., Web 3.0, NLP, etc.)
  • Familiarity with character of a large, multinational organization, including sensibility for political and historical dimensions
  • German language skills
  • SCRUM Master or equivalent certificate
  • Master’s degree or equivalent; MBA or PhD desirable
