How you will get the job done

As the Content & Communications Expert you will be responsible for researching and preparing insightful and professional coverage around strategic changes, technology innovations, projects and organisational culture of ERGO Group’s global Technology holding by:

  • managing and developing the international (Poland, Germany, India) intranet platform collaborating with other members of the Communications team to develop appealing interviews, case studies and strategic coverage
  • closely collaborating with key stakeholders – Head of Corporate Communications and Communications Director responsible for cross-channel content coherence as well as the Tech teams across the ERGO Group, to deliver impactful, high-quality content based on analysis of stakeholders information needs
  • promoting a shared understanding of business initiatives and projects within the company, also on the international level
  • fostering collaborative relations, work to identify stories, prepare messages, texts and presentations securing convincing and positive coverage
  • supporting change and transformation initiatives with excellent communication and various initiatives fitted to the organisational needs
  • managing internal communications formats (global intranet, international newsletters, posts, case studies etc.)
  • preparing content for the external communications channels (social media, company website, infographics etc.)
  • interviewing various projects’ owners and business stakeholders
  • planning and executing execute initiatives to reach the target audience through appropriate internal and external channels (newsletters, social media, etc.)
  • leveraging analytics and reports to determine effectiveness and seek continual improvements of communication initiatives
  • defining a network of media contacts within business technology, and insurance industry media

Skills and experience you will need

  • English and Polish language fluency (C1/C2)​
  • master’s degree in Journalism, Communications, Economics, Marketing or a related field
  • 8 or more years of communications experience (digital and traditional) in a corporate or agency environment
  • journalistic or copywriting experience in English (German would be an asset)
  • excellent grammar, text composition, and proofreading skills
  • proven track record of exceptional writing for external and internal channels
  • skills in preparing strategic presentations, working with brand topics and structured internal messages
  • experience in covering change management and strategic transformation projects
  • ability to work in a highly matrixed, virtual, and global environment while balancing multiple priorities simultaneously
  • ability to transform complex and often technical matters into clear content targeting specific audiences
  • cultural sensitivity and outstanding interpersonal skills
  • exceptional communication and writing skills
  • proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
  • commercial awareness partnered with a creative mind

Nice to have

  • good knowledge of German language
  • experience with using photo and video-editing software
