How you will get the job done

• identifying and assessing compliance risks, particularly in relation to compliance with applicable laws and internal regulations, including requirements set by insurance outsourcers
• advising and supporting business units in compliance risk management, including in particular expertise in ethical standards, anti-corruption, financial sanctions, fraud prevention
• monitoring changes in local and EU laws as well as market standards, and guidelines of regulators (e.g. BaFin) that apply to the insurance operations of the Group Companies and assessing the impact of regulatory changes on the business, including compliance monitoring
• developing compliance programs based on the Group’s standards
• participating in building a systemic reporting model for compliance risk management in the Company
• building and raising awareness of the compliance culture in the Company through training, educational activities

Skills and experience you will need

• English and Polish language knowledge at B2/C1 level
• higher education, preferably in the area of Law
• minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position in a highly regulated entity or in a law firm providing services to financial or insurance industry
• ability to interpret laws, develop procedures and internal regulations
• strong skills in analyzing and evaluating complex processes and issues
• clear sense of responsibility, team-oriented work style, as well as independence and ability to find solutions
• good knowledge of MS Office, in particular Excel and PowerPoint
• communicativeness, ease of establishing contacts, openness and ability to formulate arguments and present conclusions
