About the role

ERGO Technology & Services is looking for a skilled Category Buyer in indirect Procurement. The role will involve supporting business units to run and coordinate tenders and offers for a wide range of services and products, such as consulting, professional services, facility management, and all the other enabling services in the non-IT domain. For this role, we are looking for a person who can easily adapt in a fast-moving international environment and has a proven record of operating in Poland.​

How you will get the job done

  • developing and managing a network of reliable and financially stable suppliers
  • leading goods and services sourcing – collecting and preparing of specifications required for conducting RFx
  • developing and maintaining sourcing strategies in line with Group Procurement that aim at cost optimization
  • leading and running commercial negotiations
  • identifying opportunities for the optimization of the overall procurement process
  • analyzing industry and demand trends and supporting senior management with the development and implementation of sourcing strategies
  • managing relationships with various internal stakeholders (business units, projects, etc.) and participating in cross-functional teams working on sourcing projects and continuous improvement
  • ensuring internal and external compliance with sourcing procedures and contracts
  • analyzing periodical cost, contract, and spend visibility to trigger contract renegotiations
  • performing other tasks entrusted by superiors

Skills and experience you will need

  • good command of Polish and English (B2)
  • university degree (preferably in Management, Logistics or Economics)
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in an international environment
  • experience in sourcing and business analysis
  • proficiency in Microsoft Office and business application software, purchasing, and resource planning systems
  • knowledge of negotiation techniques
  • effectiveness and goal-orientation
  • agile attitude – openness, improvement of actions, anticipation of changes
  • ability to adapt within a fast-moving and growing environment and to build relations with Customers
  • good presentation skills

Nice to have

  • knowledge of German language
  • experience with Coupa platform
