About the role

The Business Support Manager (Chief of Staff) provides support to the Management Board Member in the execution of business objectives and strategic initiatives. The role involves coordinating a broad range of business administration and operational activities to support alignment across the organization. By overseeing key initiatives, and acting as a central communication liaison, the Business Support Manager helps drive alignment, organizational efficiency and execution.

How you will get the job done

  • working directly with the Management Board Member to support all aspects of his daily activities and ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • collecting, analyzing, and presenting relevant data and reports to support Board Member in the decision-making process
  • providing insights and recommendations, while identifying key business trends and potential challenges
  • acting as a liaison between the Management Board, employees, ERGO Group, and external stakeholders to facilitate effective communication and relationship building
  • overseeing and managing key projects assigned by the Board Member, tracking progress, and ensuring alignment with strategic objectives
  • collaborating on cross-functional initiatives to ensure Board-level strategies are effectively communicated and implemented across the organization
  • facilitating the flow of information between Board Member and his respective support teams to maintain consistency in decision-making and strategy execution
  • participating in meetings and networking events as needed, documenting proceedings, and crafting required documents, as well as initial drafts of minutes and summaries
  • ensuring the accuracy, confidentiality, and security of all communications and documentation related to Management Board activities

Skills and experience you will need

  • proficiency in English (written and spoken)
  • university degree
  • 5+ years of experience working with top management in a multinational environment
  • operational knowledge of Finance, HR, Administration, Procurement, Risk, and Legal areas
  • very good command of MS Office with the ability to create high-quality presentations
  • proven experience in project management, including the use of project management tools
  • excellent time management and strong organizational skills
  • high level of ownership and accountability, with a strong focus on delivering tangible results
  • excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • strong effectiveness and goal orientation, self-discipline
  • agile mindset, demonstrated by openness to change, continuous improvement, forward-looking thinking, and a proactive approach
